My contact lens story

Some fun time:
I have a bad eyesight and I use glasses from the age of 13. At the age of 18(2nd year of college) I got my first pair of contact lenses. by the end of 3rd year everybody almost forgot that I use contact lenses.
Its fun to wear contact lenses. It increases the cosmetic value...but not without funny incidence like these...
I used to stay in Hostel during my college days. One Sunday we were about to go to the mess which is just one floor below us. I was searching for my glasses and could not find it. I thought, "What the heck, I am just going a floor below to have food". And did not wear my glasses.
One of my junior wanted to make a phone call to her parents and since our hostel phone was out of order she wanted to use the phone booth outside our college campus. She asked me to accompany her. I warned her that I am not wearing glasses nor contact lenses. In spite of that she convinced me to go with her.
On our way back, my friend who lives in the same complex saw me and called me to say 'hi'. I could recognize the voice but don't know where he is. I turned back and few guys were standing in the first floor. I guessed that he must be there. Gave a smile and waves back.
Later I found out that the guys I waved to were some arts students and my friend was standing in the 2nd floor!!!!! And he got so much pissed off that I ignored him for the arts students. Then I have to explain to him that I was neither wearing glasses not contacts and we had a nice laugh.
I used to have the same power in both eyes so I always don't keep track on which contact lens should go in which eye. One day I was talking to a friend while wearing my contacts and wore one lens and when I opened the other case there was no lens. I searched everywhere and made my friends to search for the lens and turned the place upside down to figure out that I was wearing both the lenses in the same eye. ;)
See as I told you its not easy wearing contact lenses ;)
