The swimming story
Hi Friends,
I hardly get any time to blog with my little one getting naughtier by the day. Yesterday, I got a lane to myself[which is rare cause its summer and the pool is super crowded] in the pool. It was a great feeling..... I need not watch out for the kids or crazy teens who swim across the pool.
Now I have nothing to think about......memories of my swimming classes flashed in my head. Four yrs back....Shyam & I used to rush to the pool by 8:35am..we were always late to the class :D ....Shyam was put in the intermediate after the first class!!!!!!!!!!!I remember our trainer,"Kick,Kick, kick, blow bubbles bubbles bubbles". Once I almost drowned and the guy in the next lane pulled me to the lane divider.
Those were fun days. When we knew most of the swimmers in the pool. My friend M and I used to practice swimming very regularly. Lot of our friends were in the pool with us. We played 'Monkey in the middle' in the pool with S's smiley pool ball. It was so much fun. One by one most of them moved out of FOW.....and here I am swimming all alone in the lane. Of course Shyam is taking care of Teer while I swim.
I have to thank Shyam, he almost forced me to go out and swim after Teer was born. I almost forgot how much I love to swim till I hit the pool a week back. When I do the elementary back stroke, I see how beautiful the campus is. Blue sky, birds flying here and there. Green trees. Oh,the people around the pool???? I cant figure out who they are 'cause I dont wear my contacts or specs while I swim. Some day I should get my LASIK done ;).
One hour in the pool and I am done. Here I go to the Jacuzzi. Warm water and the breeze...can life get better???????? Now I am all ready to finish off my day and begin a new one tomorrow....dont know what Teer will learn to keep me on my feet tomorrow :). Today I found few pics of all of us in pool playing 'monkey in the middle'....Those times will never come back...
