Meditation during Pregnancy

Meditation during pregnancy is a blessing.

I was so glad that I learned meditation offered by Art of living[AOL], it was very helpful during my pregnancy. It relives stress, keeps the mind calm and brings peace of mind.

With previous experience of miscarriage, I was worried a lot. To top it, morning sickness made it even worse. Meditating twenty minutes, twice a day, made all the difference. It put me in a calmer state of mind and helped me focused positively. Some days when the nausea became worse, I opted to do guided meditation by Sir Sri Ravi Shankar, The founder of Art of Living. It gave so much relief.

My friends, who I meditate with, suggested that I do Advanced meditation [Art of living course 2] during pregnancy. Wow!!!! That’s the best thing I did during pregnancy. The advanced meditation was divine. Got totally energized and refreshed after the retreat. My friends where more generous to share prenatal yoga poses from Art of living website.  http://www.artofliving.org/in-en/yoga-and-pregnancy It strengthened my lower back and kept me away from back ache during the last few months of pregnancy.

With blessing from parents and Art of Living teachers, delivered a healthy baby. After two months, I practice Sudarshan Kriya and meditation, which gives me energy to take care of my two kids, four years and two months old. AOL is truly ‘is the’ “Art of Living”
